Honey’s was opened in January 2017 by Lindy Brown, a stay-at-home mom, who remembered how great it was serving coffee every morning as a college student. With coffee, there was never a bad day or a problem that could not be solved. Originally opening in her aunt’s gourmet food store with 1 table and 1 employee (her mom), it was not long before she needed a building of her own. On October 21, 2017, Honey’s opened the doors of its forever home. Through these doors, this small town shop aims to be a sanctuary from the crazy of the world, where every customer is seen and loved. Great coffee is just a nice bonus!
ISAIAH 177 HOUSE
The Isaiah 117 House mission is to provide physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement. This mission is threefold:
Reduce trauma for children on removal day
Lighten the load for the caseworkers
Ease the transition for future placement
